The Board Steering Committee, acting per its delegated authority, approved the introduction of LMC TRAKRS^SM Index futures at its meeting of October 28, 2002.  This contract represents the third in a series of innovative new products offered by the Exchange in collaboration with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith Incorporated (�Merrill Lynch�).  Previous TRAKRS offerings included the Long-Short Technology TRAKRS Index futures and the Select 50 TRAKRS^SM Index futures contracts.
